Chief Engineer's Log Supplemental,

The subspace frequency theory was actually successful, we were able to quickly identify a Federation Starship through the massive amounts of distortions in the area. I was surprised that our theory worked, and I know everyone that worked on this project is equally happy as well. I promised to meet everyone in Ten Forward after their shift ends, I guess drinks will be on me...
