The doors to Will's quarters slid open as his presence was scanned by the internal door sensors to his quarters; he let out a deep exhale as he peeled off his uniform jacket and tossed it on a nearby chair. "Computer," he said as he kicked off his boots one by one into his walk in closet. "Any kind of Smooth Jazz," as he took his jacket and folded it up on the edge of his bed; and proceeded to flop down in his chair.

"Good evening, Commander." Came a smooth, almost sensual silken voice from the adjacent small office, flowing into the bedroom.

"What the hell!" Will said out loud as he was startled by a soft voice from within the dark parts of his room. "Computer, lights," he announced; and at once the darkness was pushed away to the far corners of his room. After scanning for a few seconds his eyes fell upon a female officer wearing a blue uniform. "How did you," he said as he pointed at the door to his quarters.

The form that met the eyes of Will was none other than the red-maned Reilin. The shapely form of the Orion reclined back in his seat with her boots resting up upon his desk, her brilliant crimson hair done up in a bun as she nibbled on a biscuit of some form, a pot of tea with a simple cup resting nicely on the table. Her other hand holding a PADD that she seemed somewhat engrossed by. Of course, that was before she turned stormy eyes to glance up at the features of William.

"I either masterfully picked the lock and snuck in with the grace of a Tal'Shiar operative or I simply used my authorisation to get access to the room." The woman offering a sweet smile around the oval-shaped biscuit in her mouth that was wagging as she spoke, the jade lips of the older woman though carefully pulling the biscuit into her mouth as she finally consumed it in short order, sipping her tea gracefully soon after. "You're overdue, Commander."

Will finally pushed himself up out of his chair, and gave the good doctor a look over from head to toe. "I've never known doctors to go this far to treat their patients," he said as he cleared his throat. He slowly walked towards her with his arms folded, flexing the muscles slightly "I suppose I now have no choice but to give in to being treated."

Reilin’s features quickly turned to an expression of outright suspicion, eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she leaned back in the surprisingly comfortable seat, the mug of hers still steaming in her hand as she sipped it once more. Not without of course noticing the little flexing of the muscles. So that’s how it is, eh?

“You’re taking this awfully calmly, if you didn’t have such an issue with having your evaluation then why put it off so long as to require me to have to come and collect you personally?” asked Reilin, sipping again.

Will looked down at the doctor as she continued to get more and more comfortable in his chair. Tilting his chin upward as an angle as his neck muscles flexed, he reached over and slowly started snapping his pips off one by one. "You," said Will as he pulled off the black and gold pip from his neck. "Intend on collecting me?" he said as he balled up his fist and walked over to his night stand and placed them near his desk lamp.

"You collect stamps dear doctor," he said as he turned on his heel turning in her direction, and taking small step towards her. "colleges, and friends" he added with another step. "You even collect lovers," he said as he gave her a slight smug smile with a slight deep laugh; with all the intensive purposes for her to hear the bass echo in his voice. "I am not a collectible item you observe on occasion." He added as he placed both hands palms down on the desk, the sleeves on his fore arm raising up slightly; exposing the whispers of dark brown hair which coated his light brown skin.

Reilin seemed... less than impressed as she rolled her tongue along her inner cheek. Seems like somebody was trying to make a statement with her. She puckered her lip in a semi playful manner as she sipped her tea once more.

“If we’re talking on a purely physical level, Commander, I’m overall preferring of a swimmer / athletic build, paler complexions too if you must know.” Reilin smiled sweetly before popping up to her feet in a second, grabbing the collar of the younger man and claiming his lips in a demanding kiss for several seconds.

She felt the muscles of the younger William tense up before finally she felt him slump, leaning back as the muscular human fell forward onto the table.

She ran a finger over her lips, gently leaning back into her seat as she looked over to her pot of tea, sighing softly as she leaned back to take another sip of the tea. He’ll be docile for a while anyway.

She quietly pondered over whether she should have done the proper thing and carried him out to sickbay, a little walk of shame as it were.

No, transporter was better. She decided finally, sipping her tea.

[Two hours later in sickbay]

A deep groan escaped Will's mouth, on top of a mild headache that appeared out of nowhere. As his external senses started to kick in he felt that something was off. He could tell he was lying on a bed, but the bed in his quarters was much softer. Maybe he had fallen asleep on the floor. As he cracked open his eyes he winced at the brightness of them, and briefly shielded his eyes with his hand; just to give his eyes enough time to adjust to the light. Another groan followed this one much more lighter, and when his eyes finally had time to adjust he noticed where he finally was.

"How the hell did I get here?" he said as he blinked a couple of times fully taking in sickbay. Then all of a sudden he remembered, the kiss...his senses going numb; and the image of the doctor fading into blackness.

"Ah, you're awake. Goood!" chimed the voice of Reilin as she emerged in his field of view, the uniformed form of the older woman's frame looming over the engineer as her long red hair fell over her face, creating a certain of crimson around them.

Will turned his head away from her, he was tricked, he felt used in a way. Granted the kiss was nice but, the fact that he was played using his own tactics. A slight scow formed on his face as he thought about it more and more, "You tricked me, you and your blasted pheromones," he added.

"I knew something was different. Three years doctor, its been three years since my last medical evaluation. I even dodged a fully ranked Commander at a Starbase when she tried to give me my medical evaluation," he stated as he sat up on his elbows.

“Orion pheremones make you suggestable, if my species knocked out our mates with a kiss we’d probably be very boring sexually.” The reply came from Reilin as she looked over the data-stream on the arch of the imaging biobed before reaching into her pocket to produce a small clear satchel-like filled with a sort of grounded up plant with bits of reddish pink amidst the usual darker tones. “Trilainian Rose Blossoms, for Orions and a number of other species its a delightful tea meant to calm the nerves, generally goes rather nicely with human biscuits.” Reilin explained before lightly tapping the satchet on William’s nose. “But to you, my Terran colleague, its a rather effective sedative. Its actually one of my more popular prescriptions, keep a hundred or so kilos usually in stock and replenish it at Starbases. Come to think of it I should have given it to our young Chief of Ops.”

The woman’s tone taking a pensive aspect before she shrugged, pocketing it again. “Ah well, we live and learn.” Reilin winked at Willian. “You’ll be happy to know you’re a fine strapping example of your species, my dear boy. A little high on the sodium but no one is perfect. Heart rate is good, liver function is good, kidneys are good. You’ll be happy to know working near an engine core hasn’t affected your reproductive abilities.”

When the doctor explained her method of dragging him down here his eyes enlarged with shock. At least it was good to know that she had to go to some lengths to drag him hear; that gave him a bit of satisfaction. As she started listening off his readings he inwardly started to feel good about himself; however he still felt like he did not need a doctor to tell him that. Yet when she started talking about his reproductive abilities he gave a look of shear terror on his face. "I would hope so," he said as he looked back at her.

Will slightly shook his head he had finally been caught and outwitted, he winced slightly in discomfort, the slight trigger of pain evident from his facial expression. Placing his hand on his upper shoulder he gave it a rub until the brief pain subsided. "Old war injury," he said as he looked back at the doctor. "Flares up under moments of stress," he added.

"Mm, yes. I'm assuming you have some attachment or psychological connector to that war wound otherwise you'd have made the time to schedule surgery and recovery in order to fix that little issue?" asked Reilin, looking over the scans once more.

"I was told that it was repaired as much as possible," said Will as he laid back down on the table, folding his hands and resting them on his stomach. "I'm not going to lie I do have an attachment to it, lets just say that it reminds me of my duty to Starfleet," he said as he listened to the beeps and hums. "So what else are you looking for doctor, since you have me here?"

"Just the usual things, any issues that might flare up in future. You're a senior staff member on one of the front-line vessels of Starfleet, not to mention the Chief Engineer, thus the requirements on monitoring your health are quite a bit higher paperwork wise, unofficially of course. Wouldn't do to remind the little sensitive darlings that some people are more valuable than others in terms of the functioning of a vessel." Reilin's eyes never leaving the arch. "Though it must have been a quack or the like whom told you this, or they didn't want to take you out of action too long or perhaps you didn't ask this within the last ten years or something, not unsurprising given your penchant for avoiding people of a medical persuasion. The surgery I'm thinking of would be literally a replacement, new muscle and whatnot grafted, very time consuming affair but you wouldn't have that issue any longer."

Will listened to what the good doctor had to say, interesting enough that she could repair the damage. She was correct, the doctor's on the Clement were trying to treat so many of the wounded; it very well could have been a patch job. Actually that's where his dislike for doctor's started, he witnessed with his eyes the people they chose to work on to save and those to die. At the time he was young and did not understand but still even in his older age it did not register fully.

"You know doctor," Will said as he ignored the dull pain "I think I might take you up on your offer. I've carried this pain for far too long," he said as he took a deep breath inward. "Don't let this go to your head, but you just might have changed my perspective on doctors."

"Yay for me." The response was droll, but playful as she proceeded to reach for a nearby PADD. "I'll arrange for my Chief Surgeon to speak with you regarding the operation. Much as I like to think myself as a very talented woman this is a bit above my skillset and a bit more specific. You'll have to arrange for light duties though. It'll be a full month before you'll begin using those new muscles properly and even then they'll need time to set properly, but of course you can arrange all that with Doctor Soban."

"Here I thought you did it all Doctor," replied Will with a hint of sarcasm noted in his tone. "I mean you are a Jack of all trades, you know how to by pass overrides, how to wait in the shadows, and even lure a runaway patient into your sickbay," he added with a slight laugh. While Will was talking he also had been thinking about what she said in regards to the surgery. Timing would be everything, and with the Magellan in not so friendly space; he might have to put off the procedure until a much better time.

"Flattery will get you a lot of places, dear boy, but you can thank all of those little skills to a rather colourful youth. I'm not that good." Reilin winked at Will, reaching down to pinch his cheek. "Either way, you'll be free to leave in a few minutes and you can meet up with Doctor Soban at whatever time is suitable. You should consider yourself fortunate that we're on a Galaxy-class ship otherwise you'd be need to a stay at a Starbase to have all the facilities to do this properly."

"I've been patched up on too many Starbases I hate them," he replied as he was actually glad to know that he would be able to stay on the Magellan and fully recover here as well. Will continued to lay their on the table looking around at the ceiling, counting things that he saw. Listening to the humming and sounds of sickbay. "Doctor would you mind having dinner with me sometime in the future? Not as a date since I'm clearly not your type," he said as he cleared his throat. "But merely as friends. I ask this because I don't have that many and with this being a new start, I figured that I need to make some."

Reilin's features merely shifted to a momentarily pensive one as she pressed her lips for a moment, shrugging soon after.

"I'm fine with that, though you didn't need to explain your intentions, dear boy." Reilin's fingers danced over the console on the arc before the faint whirl of servos filled the air, the arch opening as the two sides retracted into the sides of the biobed. "I like to think I'm old enough to tell the difference between a chap trying to woo me or not after all." Reilin winked.

Will gave a nervous laugh at her response, and as the arch pulled back into the bio bed; he slowly sat up and managed to get a glimpse at the Magellan's sickbay. It wasn't as large as the one of the Starbase, but it sure was just as impressive if not more. "Also Doctor, what ever upgrades you think you might need for sickbay let me know," he said as he swung his legs over the side of the bed. "Between the coordination between operations and myself, we can create a new medical lab or anything that you think you might need, as medical equipment and labs are updated."

Reilin's "better nature", such as it was, was tempted to warn the technically inclined and rather well situated young man of the dangerous of giving her access to new toys. Of course, such a nature was quickly pushed down. More and new toys were always better! Thus, she curled her lips again in a near-coquettish manner.

"I'll hold you to that, Commander." Reilin leaned forward to plant a kiss to the cheek of the younger man before clapping his other cheek gently. "Now, shoo. You're fine medically and I've no reason to chase after you professionally."

Will felt the warmth from her lips apply to his cheek, and he couldn't help but smile and blush from it. He slowly planted his feet flat on the floor and stood up and slowly stretched, allowing his muscles to come back alive. "I love your bedside manner doctor," replied Will as he stuck his yellow shirt in back of his pants, and slowly walked towards the main door of sickbay. "Hopefully our next adventure will be even more fun, now that I know to watch you more carefully," he said with a wink and walked out of sickbay.
